Creating Required Text Fields

Creating Required Text Fields

I've successfully assembled a static site for a client who sends samples of his product swatches at no charge to architects and interior designers.

We modified the standard shipping information form to collect additional information related to the project the samples are being ordered for.

The client is now asking to make certain fields "required" on the order form/shipping page.

The idea is that without certain fields completed the form would show an error message and not be sent until the field is filled in.

I can't find anything in the ecart documentation that explains how to do this.

I know that in Dreamweaver there are Spry validation fields but I don't believe these can be inserted into an ecart form template.

PLEASE advise.
