Importing CSV - Still working on it

Thread began 2/21/2010 5:26 pm by balexander389215 | Last modified 2/22/2010 2:04 pm by balexander389215 | 943 views | 4 replies

Importing CSV - Still working on it

Through trails and tribulations I have managed to figure out the database import. I can now get my 5000 items imported into the database. But, now what?

First I see two tables one called 'products' and one called 'ps3_products' which table should I be importing into?

I did put the data into the 'products' table but when I wnet to the ps3 admin and searched for the products none were found.

The big questions is which table should these items be imported to and then how do I get them into the categories after they are in the table. For some reason I had imagined that I would be presented with this huge list of products and I would just drag them into the proper categories. Too easy huh?

Any help is much appreciated.
