Weird issue in IE6 with menu

Weird issue in IE6 with menu

This is potentially an odd one, and may for some IE reason be tripping over something aspxy.

I've basically been rewriting an old aspx site I've inherited, in plain old HTML / CSS.

I had pretty much got everything set up on my own domain here :

It has been slightly tricky getting what I need from the old .aspx pages, but I got as far as creating a /new/ folder on the original server, uploading all the new pages into there, and putting a simple redirect on the original index.aspx page to point to ../new/homepage.php.

It all seemed to be working here :

However, I just had a look on IE6, and its reporting errors on the page (that it doesn't on the same page on my domain), and the hovers and drop downs in the navigation isn't working.

It seems to be something to do with this part :

<script type="text/javascript">if(window.attachEvent) { window.attachEvent("onload", function() { cssmw5.intializeMenu('cssmw5',{select_current: 0, orientation: 1}); }); } else if(window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener("load", function() { cssmw5.intializeMenu('cssmw5',{select_current: 0, orientation: 1}); }, true); }</script>

Any reason its fine in other browsers, but not in IE6?

Any reason its OK on my domain, but not on the origianl domain?

Is there something in the aspx that's peculiar to IE6 that breaks it?

Although, having said that, I haven't been able to check what it looks like in IE7 or IE8....

Any fixes much appreciated....
