I have redone this section to show a way that worked well for me, a kind of 'case-study', if you like.
There should be a "sticky" on this site so your excellent set up tutorial can be downloaded anytime without the big search.

Amen to that. Honestly, OG - I rely on your knowledge-base hugely - I always end up there (shortly after reading the guides!).
