I'm not sure what you mean. Did you want to have them have different current states on the two different menus on the same page or did you mean you have 2 different menus on 2 different pages and you want them to both be able to have current state applied when on those pages?

Having 2 menus on the same page and having them have different current states would require some custom coding to make the modification to make one have a different current state. Having 2 different menus on different pages, you can apply the current state to both of them and they should both work.
