Powerstore2 - MySQL and admin page problem

Hi, I am a just a layman trying to setup online store, dun know much about software languages. I need your help.

I have uploaded all powerstore files to the server (/public_html). I can see the main page and navigate around but when I append /admin to the url, it says page not found. What is wrong?

Another problem I encounter is that the connection to the database is giving "An Unidentified error has Occurred." when I do a test with Dreamweaver 8.
# FileName="Connection_php_mysql.htm"
# Type="MYSQL"
# HTTP="true"
$hostname_localhost = "localhost";
$database_localhost = "sgpremiu_store";
$username_localhost = "sgpremiu_leon";
$password_localhost = "****";
$localhost = mysql_pconnect($hostname_localhost, $username_localhost, $password_localhost) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);

I do not have test server, I am uploading directly to live to the remote server.

MYSQL version is 5.0.87

I am stuck here. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Leon.
