Menu Problems in IE6 and 7

"Its a horizontal menu with dropdowns on certain items. In Firefox this all works perfectly, but in IE the dropdowns always dissapear before you get chance to move the mouse over the items."

I've got the exact same problem and a ticket into support a week ago with no answer. Problem is in both IE6 and 7 but not in IE8 and Firefox.

After going from the home page to other pages and then back, menu displays the phenomena shown above.
