I can repeat the Loading... loop everytime by clearing the Opera browser cache
I've logged a bug for this this, but to be honest, I cant really see how we can implement a fix.To be able to fix a problem, there needs to be a clear way to reproduce the issue faithfully. Where the results are so erratic, it will be next to impossible to pinpoint the cause.
Also, the problem seems to be in browser, that's not really something we can control.

Thanks for explaining, Jason. I'm glad you passed it on, because, since I was able to repeat the error consistently by:
clearing the browser cache
closing all windows
opening a browser window
loading the page fresh
I watch as all components are downloaded
and even after that the LOADING... message continues to cycle.
I believe that indicates the issue is between the Loading code and the way Opera needs to receive the message that loading is done and let the main image display -- or something.
Maybe if someone can fix the issue that CAN be repeated the rest will fall into place.
Yes, I also get the inconsistent issues you got upon Reloading the page repeatedly. These occur randomly if you don't clear the browser cache. So, I'm thinking if the initial loading problem can be resolved (since it's repeatable) that might take care of the Reloading issue. Plus, if we can get it to work the first time, most people won't Reload the page. I'm happy with a quick fix. It may be simplistic thinking, but my intuition works sometimes.
Thanks again for your help.
Lyn
