Session variable does not appear to set in PHP

Issue appears resolved

Thanks to Office Guy and Jason. The tool provided to check the server session worked as expected. It ended up being both of Jason's suggestions that fixed this one, the first page needed the setting of the session variable moved and the second screen needed the code pasted to line 1 to get the session variable to display.
