I.E. display problems-expanding box?
I'd like to see if anyone could help me out with these two questions. I have a page that is not displaying correctly in I.E. 7 or back. It displays perfectly in Firefox and I.E. 8. Originally I was getting the expanding box warning in Dreamweaver but I went through and changed overflow to hidden on my CSS and it no longer throws the warnings and it also validates but it's still not displaying correctly, it moves everything off to the side of the page. I've also gone through every CSS on the page and I can't find anywhere that shows the content is wider than the width setting.
The page is on theracersresource.com I hate the inconvenience for you but I've currently got it gated since I'm not going live until the end of Jan. The login info is:
Username: resource
Password: 4racers
Click on the "Tech Info" button at the top of the page and on that page you will see a "Recent New Products" category on the right. When you click on one of the product links that brings you to the new_racing_product.php detail page where I'm having the problem.
The second problem can also be seen on this page. These photos are being displayed dynamically and again it works fine in Firefox but in I.E. it holds the spot for the image and shows it as a broken image link. A better representation of this problem is on the home page. In the news release excerpts the only one with a photo on the details page is the top link. When you view that in Firefox the photo displays and the text wraps around it. When you go to any of the other news links on the page the text just moves up to fill the spot if there's no photo to go with the article. When viewed in any version of I.E. it tries to hold that spot for the photo and shows as a broken image link if there's no photo there. I haven't been able to find any tutorials or info about how to make this work.
Thanks in advance.
