Creating a static catalog

There will be at least 280 item in the website so as you mentioned I would go for database base driven option.
I will look at the download area.

Question regarding file management:
I have already a root folder set in Dreamweaver CS3 in my computer that content all my client's website. I tried to use the same folder for setting up the eCart4 to have everything in the same client website but I get error message.
Do I do something wrong?
Is it possible to create a new folder for eCart in the same folder that content all files of my client website?
