Creating a static catalog

Look in your download area. There are files and guides that you can download to walk you through setting up a static site as well as dynamic.

That said, the only time I would recommend going with a static site is when you are absolutely sure that you will never need more than a few items. If there is any potential for growth at all, it much easier to go dynamic before you really need it.
