I'm not sure when you'll get a chance to look at it so as of Saturday at 3:39am May 2, the submenu goes underneath other elements in the page which have no z-index set. This happens in IE (I'm currently testing with IE7) but is fine in Firefox, safari, and opera.

** So I just tried something else. I have a div below the menu. When it is set to relative, the submenu shows up underneath it. When I remove that, the submenu shows up over it. Unfortunately I need to have this set for the design.**
