prepend relative path? - step 11 page 21

Not sure which tutorial you're using but prepend is just a fancy way of saying, stick it on the front.

The idea is, if your images are stored in:
images/detail/
instead of storing the link in your database as:
images/detail/house.jpg

You prepend (stick on the front) images/detail/ to the code that calls the link stored in the database. The entry in your database would just be
house.jpg
