When to use Form Builder, Contact Solution Pack, and/or Universal e-mail?

The solution packs are the finished results from using the WA extensions to solve one goal. So you can use FormBuilder and Universal Email to create the Contact Solution Pack. They just did all of the work for those that want a ready made solution.

You actually do want the validation and security stuff. That's what keeps the spamers from wreaking havoc with your email. Since this is built into Form Builder, you might as well use it.

I think the easiest way to proceed, is to use Form Builder (since you already have it) to make some test pages. It is much easier to learn how something works if you are not concerned about the finished results. If things get really messed-up you just delete the page and start over.

After you have a good feel for it, you can start a new page to achieve the results you are looking for.

If you take it slow and test the results after each change, I don't think you will have any problem picking this up.

Universal Email is used if you want the form to email the results.

The Contact Solution pack provides a way for visitors to contact you directly from the site trough email.

The Registration Solution pack provides a way for visitors to create an account that can be used to identify them while on your site.
