Site Import Frustratingly Wimpy

Site Import does not work as advertised. No matter how it is set it cannot follow and save even the simplest websites completely.

I had to bring out my Windows laptop and download httrack website mirror to get a complete and reliable import of a small little company website.

Site Import must go back to the drawing board. httrack offers a bunch of options and exclusions as well as inclusions. Site Import in its default settings does not take seriously Entire Site. All other alterations and additions of extra urls pointing helpfully to where it had been missing files still did nothing.

Take this playtoy off the site until you make it a real tool for developers.
