Trouble with DataAssist Results Layout

I have tried repeating the steps in the dataassist wizard seveal times but keep having the same problem. In my results page, there is a huge area up top that is blank, and my results don't start until the bottom of the page. what might cause this? I have attached a pic.

Also, in my results there is a text line that says [button], but there is no button. This can also be seen in the image.

Any help would be appreciated!
