modifying menu in site assist

Thread began 11/27/2009 5:15 am by grgsr | Last modified 12/01/2009 3:58 pm by grgsr | 1582 views | 3 replies

When I modify the menu in Site Assist the changes do not appear in Dreamweaver when I open the pages changed nor do the changes show on my local test server. They do however show up in the Site Assist Program if you click on the preview window below such as preview home page & content pages.

What I'd like to accomplish is rather than have a fly out menu for my products I rather have each product category listed separately and when these menu buttons are clicked it would take you to the products in that fly out just content pages with actual products.

I have tried many times to get this to work but every time I preview these changes hitting F12 or view them in Dreamweaver the changes don't show. I also noticed that when I created another menu category a folder was not created in the root folder of Dreamweaver..........I noticed folders 1-4 which is predetermined/established in Site Assist but no folder for Category 5 I I need to create separate folders for each category I create or should Site Assist do this as I use the wizard?
