The Cart Is Empy

I found a solution to one of the causes why the shopping cart would indicate being empty during local server testing at oreilly[dot]com PHP knowledge database.

In my case I follow upon a key word posted earlier by Jason Byrner relating to Session Management.

Ensure that the sesson_start() setting in the PHP.ini file are correct

The path should be: session.save_path = "C:\php\temp"

The sesson_start() should be: session.use_cookies = 1
* make sure the semicolon at the beginning of the line has been removed to enable session_start.

Ensure the 'temp' directory exist in your PHP directory.
