Thanks, that is perfect, I found exactly what I wanted. It was a post about menuwriter and a glitch with IE6 in display of a horizontal menu. I never actually had any response from anyone else so it was probably an unusual problem but I worked it through and posted a couple of responses to myself as I figured it out but as noted, I had changed the coding from that and did not have any saved copies.
I will summarise the problem now in the menuwriter threads just in case anyone else has the same issue.
