Ecart is submitting US$ currency to Paypal instead of £

Ecart is submitting US$ currency to Paypal instead of £

In the ecart object I have selected British Pounds as the currency for my cart and the checkout display and everything on the site remains £ but as soon as you submit the order to paypal it wants dollars.

I have emailled paypal and they say it is the cart that is telling them the wrong currency, this is the link to the price list so you can place something in your basket and see for yourself pricelist.php .

Thank you for helping - I am at a loss, it is my first time building a site.
