Is this because I didn't set the cookie days to expire?

I didn't put anything in the field for days to expire because in the example video there wasn't anything put in there. Also - how to I edit the cookie once I've set it for the entire form? Is there a way to do that? Or do I just add to the code. I'm just not too experienced with editing this kind of Javascript.

Here's the code for the cookie:
<script type="text/javascript">
function WA_setFormCookie(cookieObj, formObj, cookieName, expdays) {
if (expdays) {
cookieObj.expires = daysToExpire(expdays);
else {
cookieObj.expires = "";
function WA_getFormCookie(cookieObj, formObj, cookieName) {
