Hello Ray,
I just tested it on a new system (so, I can exclude a cache problem) and it doesn't work.
Try this: add some text to comment field, enter a wrong code in the chaptcha field and check privacy checkbox. If you try to submit the form the progress bar appears but keep displaying and nothing happens. No error will be thrown.
