want update one values set login session variables want update level user cant simply update session variable session_start() gets value login

Can I update the values set at login for levels? When I print out the session, Im not able to set this because I believe its being done already.

How do I update the session variables set by the database values that have changed without forcing the user to login. I tried to run a login however the login redirects infinitely because I do not want to set a redirect when I login a user manually.

UPDATE: Starting the session fixed the problem...
wasnt started the session. i assumed since i was restricting the page to logins that the session wsa started, maybe it was and stopped again.
