Jamie

selecting content

Hi Ray

I am trying to create a SELECT that checks if a column has a certain value, for example Head of Employment

However, that column may have other values in it separated by ; so perhaps Deputy District Judge; Head of Employment but I only want to check if Head of Employment is within the column.

So, my select at the moment only checks if the value I am looking for is at the beginning of the content so fails in the above instance.

My select currently is

SELECT service_contents.*, join_expertise.*, staff.* FROM service_contents INNER JOIN join_expertise ON service_contents.ServicesID = join_expertise.RowsExpertiseContentID INNER JOIN staff ON join_expertise.RowsStaffContentID = staff.StaffID WHERE service_contents.ServicesID = ? GROUP BY StaffID ORDER BY IF(Locate('Head of Family Children',StaffJob)=1,0,1), StaffOrder ASC

How would I modify this to check the full content
Many thanks

Jamie
