Try going to Webassist->Preferences and then select "Wizard Preferences" on the left. From there select "Very Long" for the delay. What were you doing when it crashed? Was it after clicking finish, or while making changes in the wizard itself? 
OK I changed the delay to "very long" and and not tested the outcome yet but the crash was during the page creation time in the middle of the page creating time DW was crashed. I will try again and let you know the result.
