Possible to imitate the Multi-field dropdown server behaviour in ADDT from Interakt using Data Bridge V2?

I had looked at that but don't actually need a dependant drop down.
I have a dropdown on a form that feeds off a table that has
id, age, age_category and price fields ,
what I require to happen is when the person picks the age from the drop down two other form textfields are populated one by the age_category value and one by the price value.
I found this article in the forum http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=39171 which seems to be similar to what I require but can't figure out how to filter the second recordset properly to make it work.
Thanks
Randy
