Special character "\" crashing WA Server Validations when entered last in the "Allow other" section of Alphanumeric

Special character "\" crashing WA Server Validations when entered last in the "Allow other" section of Alphanumeric

Noticed that WA Server Validations wasn't working when entering special characters in the "Allow other" section of Alphanumeric validation.
Upon further investigation, this appeared to be because I had a backslash as the last character. I moved that into the centre of my list of special characters and that's resolved it.

Is there a problem with the back slash in particular?
