I think you will have to wait a long time... we all have been waiting for more than four years (a simple update to PHP7, not new version with more functions) but nothing has yet arrived... in another post in this forum ("Future plans") the new deadline (it is not clear whether for the final product or a beta) is for the end of the year or (most probable) beginning of 2018.
As far as I am concerned, I have lost hope...
