We need the old postings.

Ray BorduinWebAssist

Our old web site was .asp and used msSQL, the new site is php and uses mySQL. The old forums was a third party solution that has a rather complex database, we cannot host the msSQL database on our new server or the ASP pages that go with it. That means we would need to port the database and would need to create custom pages in php to interact with it. We may or may not be able to do this quickly depending on the features and difficulties, but our new site has only been live for two days.

We are working on helping , but making it live is not as simple as it may sound though the database is in tact.
Another point I would like to make clear is that we really want important content from the old forum to find its way to the new forum. So even if and when we make it available for viewing, if you are looking there, ask a question here first... that way we can populate this forum with the most important questions and answers.

Please, continue to complain about the answers you are looking for not being in the forum, but please at least give us the courtesy of telling us what information it is you are looking for so that we can bring it into this forum.

Simply saying the old forum has the answer you want won't ever help us grow this forum to have those important answers here.
