How best to validate server-side that the first date field has a date which is earlier than the second date field

How best to validate server-side that the first date field has a date which is earlier than the second date field

I have two text fields in a form, one for start date, one for end date. Somehow people are submitting forms where the end date is earlier than the start date and it's driving me nuts! I've put in client-side jQuery validation to prevent it but it's still happening so I want to make it bullet proof with server-side code.

I'm using Databridge and the Insert Single Record behaviour so what would be the best way to add server-side validation so it shows a message if the dates don't validate?

Many thanks

Jon
