PayPal Donate Button - (slight problem)

Hi Jason

I wonder if you could possibly help me out here, please? (Using Freetools in SuperSuite)

I needed to add a few PayPal Donate buttons to a PHP web page but after uploading it and trying out the button online, there is a problem with the amount not coming up as a total. It doesn't seem very clear from your wizard where I would add the amount for people to donate. I need to make four different buttons - each for different amounts: £50, £25, £50 and £100. On your wizard there are three different things it asks for:

Donation Name
Donation ID

What I need is the option to have an Item price. eg: £5.00 *Is it actually possible to specify an amount? (I very much hope so).

I'm not certain if there is a bug here, but if I tried initially to fill in the wizard like this:

Donation name: Donate £5.00
Donation ID: 5-pounds
Currency GBP

Afterwards, when I went to inspect the button online, I get some strange character come up before the £ sign. (an Â) which looks like something from Microsoft software.

I inspected the code in the PayPal page and sure enough it came up with this:
title="" id="showname0">Donate £5.00<span class="accessAid">Donate £5.00</span>

I can't quite believe that there isn't an optional field available to add a specific amount, if I want to.

When you open up the PayPal page, you expect to see £5.00 but the total says £0.00
The only way to make it say £5.00 is if you type in a number 5 under Item Price, and click Update.

This all needs to be set up so it's really easy for folks to; Click on the button - Go to the PayPal page - See that it says Total: £5.00 and go on to Pay using PayPal. That's what we need it to do.

Could you possibly debug the  thing - and also tell me how to be able to add an actual amount - such as £5.00 in the button please?

Best regards, Paul
