Next Day Delivery option - how best to apply?

On the confirm_cart.php page, how do I get it to display the name of the shipping rule chosen?
You had previously said that this wouldn't display on the view cart page but that it would display on the checkout pages - but it doesn't.

Also, if the customer does decide to jump about and make more purchases, when they come back to the checkout page, even though they'd selected, as an example, "Next Day Delivery" the radio button is back in the "Standard Delivery" option but the Next Day Delivery charge is displayed.

We have the radio button set as a session so could that be used to make sure the correct radio button is selected?

Thank you.
