eCart Checkout Wizard - Site Settings - https or http for site?

So, basically, I'm going to have to run through the whole Checkout Wizard again thus wiping everything I've done over the last two days? :(

I'm really struggling to progress with eCart. I have spent a week trying to get the checkout section to work, without success, and now I'm going to have to wipe everything I've done and start again because of glitches in the extension.

I copied, with a few additions, the Order table from the sample database you directed me to. There are no fields for Billing information in that table and, now that we're discussing it, I'm realising that there should be, shouldn't there? Why are they not in the example?

Regarding the order details bindings - is this a bug?

I'd really appreciate some help because our site is in an utter mess.
Thank you.
NJ

PS. Just checked confirm.php and pp_confirm.php and BOTH are trying to write to the wrong tables, using the completely wrong information despite our work in the Checkout Wizard.

At a complete loss as to how to progress.

PPS. Checkout Wizard not working at all now.
