Inserting images directly from scanner

Thread began 3/14/2014 10:18 am by laboy390110 | Last modified 3/14/2014 11:25 am by laboy390110 | 191 views | 2 replies

Inserting images directly from scanner

I need to send to my images folder some personal info. In the traditional way, I have to scan a ID, store locally and then upload it to the (images) folder. Obviously this posts a security risk. Is there a way that I can capture an image from a scanner and upload it using "File Manager" without storing it locally first?

I want to eliminate the risk of having a computer stolen, or a corrupt employee having acess to all that information (stored) locally. Please advise.

If this is not possible, is there a way that we can have some code that erases locally that image after pressing the Upload button?
