Does eCart 6 work on PHP 5.2 or 5.3?

I am interesting in upgrading to eCart 6, but need to know if it will run on server with PHP 5.2 or 5.3?
It says in your blub that it runs on PHP 4, but surely it should run on higher.
Please advise.
