server validation issue

server validation issue

Hi Jason

Have set up insert/update pages which takes the page title and adds it to a column called 'Permalink' so that I can use it for mod_rewriting.

That works fine.

Have added server validations to check the db for page title duplication and, if there is a dupe it returns a warning error. This works great

However, on an update, the page checks for duplication and returns the error, but the resulting page shows the validation error, but removes the content from the fields (although not from the database) and I cant see where the code is causing that to happen

Have attached a couple of images where the unsuccessful_validation-fail.png shows what I mean. Have also attached the page itself in case you need it.....

Many thanks
