creating new pages from Power CMS templates: 2 questions

Not sure..

Not sure if I explained it correctly. I don't want to have all the content on the results page. For example , I have this as the results page:

ON the first link I have no news..I haven't placed any news on that page i created with the template within CMS. This is how I want it to show.

On the second link(go to the page) I placed news on that page i created with the template with in the CMS. I don't know how to accomplish not showing the news on the results page. I just want the link that takes you to the details with all the info. Not all that content.

did I miss something in the tutorial?
