Whats wrong with this statement

Not sure how I'm passing the productID. I had a programmer make my urls different than the normal Webassist urls (products_detail.php?ProductID=946). My urls use the ProductSKU from the database and look like https://mywebsite.com/prod-0788026984.htm

Thanks for help with the variable. I've tried that and now I get a blank page. I get the concept but (obviously) don't understand the execution.
