Hi Just spoke to Ray briefly, it probably XAMPP that's the issue.
I never had problems with my version of Dreamweaver back on my Windows 7 install using WampServer.

but When I tried to install Wamp on Windows 8 I needed certain php version and it wouldn't work correctly on Windows 8 so I decided to try using XAMPP.

Im using Creative Cloud version of Dreamweaver CS6 (not the final update though as that replaces the conventional html forms that break certain aspects of WebAssist extensions)

Im using Windows 8 Pro 64bit verison.
