Design Extender Getting Started Guide

Thread began 10/09/2012 2:46 pm by thehalpeen319342 | Last modified 10/15/2012 12:07 pm by thehalpeen319342 | 4385 views | 15 replies

Okay - it's beginning to make sense to me. I'll take a look at the links you have just sent me. I've successfully build a site based on your instructions with Design Extender. In the meantime how do I create a site with Site Sculptor from a free template I downloaded from the web that already has the menu designed - it has the CSS, the background images etc. I've attached the downloaded file, which I would like to use to build the site. I've already saved it as a preset. However, when I go to build the site, I don't know how to retain the menu and footer styles - mainly because they get replaced with a Web Assist design. Am I supposed to build a menu based on the menu style in the downloaded template, before I start and if yes how do I go about doing this? My head is 'fried' - I can't see how it is done in the CSS Menus Writer guide - but I feel I'm almost there.
