How to create an SQL SELECT Statement?

How to create an SQL SELECT Statement?

This is probably a rather stupid (or at least very basic) question.

However, we are trying to integrate our e-cart store with our bookkeeping system and the developer that helps us in this regards ask us to send him the SQL SELECT Statement so he nows the database commands that tells him what data to send to him. He has access to the database but mentioned that he is not able to do this since they do not know the DB and what data to get nor the relationship between tables etc.

Any advise about how I can provide the SQL SELECT statement so they could continue is very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot and best regards,

Joerg
