How do I hide the serial number from my client?

Thread began 7/13/2012 12:38 pm by mrs | Last modified 7/13/2012 1:23 pm by mrs | 478 views | 3 replies

Yeah, I have secondary admins applied, or will do if they aren't at the mo, but I have to apply shipping to every single county in the world, and I am not doing that... the client can... hence my reason for needing to hide these bits.

OK, I've just found it's DB driven content, so if I add AND name <>'Activation code' to the recordset query to effectively remove it from the webpage, but leave it untouched in the DB, is this going to be an issue?

Can I do that with the rest of the areas I want to hide without detriment to the running of the site? After all, I am not removing it from the database, I am just choosing not to display it on the admin page.

I've got to say, apart from a couple of minor issues I've had, this PowerStore is an awesome bit of programming!
