Creating Product Options

Thread began 6/29/2012 4:46 pm by Brendan | Last modified 7/03/2012 2:22 pm by Brendan | 649 views | 6 replies

For example, you can get people magazine in 12mo 24mo etc.

I have setup my database so that I have all of my products in a table with product id, name, img, atl, description, price

I also have an options table with product id, option id, option detial (for display), issues (for reporting)

The tutorial has several cut and paste fields like
SELECT productoptions.OptionPriceincrement, productoptions.ProductOptionID, options.OptionName, options.OptionGroupID, optiongroups.OptionGroupName
FROM options
INNER JOIN productoptions ON options.OptionID = productoptions.OptionID
INNER JOIN optiongroups ON options.OptionGroupID = optiongroups.OptionGroupID
WHERE optiongroups.OptionGroupName = 'color' AND productoptions.ProductID = paramItem

I need to be able to figure out which are table names and which are field names so that I can replace that data with the appropriate information.

I was hoping you could maybe just highlight table names in one color, and field names in another. It would probably be usefull for others as well.
