If you go to Dreamweaver preferences and go to the Invisible elements section. Make sure that checkbox next to Scripts is selected. Instead of clicking on the menu itself click on the script tag next to it and there should be 3 buttons in the properties inspector: Edit Menu, Edit Contents and Edit Theme.
