Reset Password using Security Assist 1

I used to create sites as a hobby/side job and have since closed down. I am trying to help a friend by encrypting the password in his DB and need to create a Password reset page.

I have SecurityAssist 1 with DW CS3 . I do have some older version of DataAssist, Universal Email, and other exts that came with the super suite a few years back. Any documentation or tutorial on how to do this?

I would gladly upgrade to the 2.0 version but it is not compatible with CS3 so I'm kind of stuck with what I have.

Thanks
