Design Extender 1.0.1 -MenuWriter Bug

:eek:Just installed Design Extender 1.0.1 and have the following problem.

First selection of a menu option works fine. All subsequent selections fail with same symptom.

Example. if i select Services or any other top level menu option, I go to the correct page, but after going to a submenu option and then try to return to home from Services/ Service 1 I get a 404 error because the menu tree points to /services/index.php instead of /index.php

Menu tree as follows

Home - Index.php-->
Services /Services.php-->
Services/Services 1

return to home should point to: /index.php however the menutree points to: /services/index.php

same for ALL subsequent menu tree choices. the 2nd level of the tree is not being cleared.

These are the generated lines in menu.php

<li class="parent"><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery.php">Gallery</a>
<ul class="level-1">
<li class="parent"><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category1.php">Category 1</a>
<ul class="level-2">
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category1/portfolio1a.php">Portfolio 1a</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category1/portfolio1b.php">Portfolio 1b</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category1/portfolio1c.php">Portfolio 1c</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category1/portfolio1d.php">Portfolio 1d</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category1/portfolio1e.php">Portfolio 1e</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class="parent"><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category2.php">Category 2 </a>
<ul class="level-2">
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category2/faq.php">FAQ</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category2/privacypolicy.php">Privacy Policy</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category2/termsconditions.php">Terms & Conditions</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category2/portfolio2d.php">Portfolio 2d</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>gallery/category2/portfolio2e.php">Portfolio 2e</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class="parent"><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services.php">Services</a>
<ul class="level-1">
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services/service1.php">Service 1</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services/service2.php">Service 2</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services/service3.php">Service 3</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services/service4.php">Service 4</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services/service5.php">Service 5</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>services/feeschedule.php">Fee Schedule</a></li>
</ul>
</li>

Note that the "services/" is correct, but the menu system is adding /services/ to make it /services/services/*.php
