How do you edit a page?

Okay after the first 24 hours I can say I am completely frustrated so far with the Design Suite. I have completely given up on the site Assist stuff. But CSS Sculptor looks like it has promise, but I can find no way to edit a page once its built.

Example, I built a basic page without changing any defaults or anything ...

I want to add a CSs Menu to the left column, so I delete the text that there but there is no way to change the margins other than in the DW interface. i could do that before purchasing Sculptor.

I can't change colors without completely redoing the page.

I cannot even add a simple SSI in the footer with copyright info without breaking the page.

Documentation is very poor.

I know I am new to this product and will give it time, but I am sorry, the first 24 hours have been nothing but frustrating.
