Add to Cart from Product Search Page Error

Thread began 7/07/2011 3:30 pm by martin400112 | Last modified 7/08/2011 10:13 am by martin400112 | 914 views | 5 replies

Add to Cart from Product Search Page Error

Hi everyone,

I have nearly finished building a shop for a client and she asked for a product search box where a customer can search for all or part of a product name. I have added this and the results page successfully. The website is and the box in question is the second one down on the left hand side.

The problem lies when the customer then tries to add a product to their cart from the results page. Nothing happens except the page refreshes with blank search results and the item is not added to the cart.

I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to solve the problem. I have changed the redirect-to page a couple of times and reentered the 'Add to Cart Button' fields, but nothing works.

If anyone has any ideas, please can they let me know.

Many thanks in advance for your time.
