Thanks Jason,

As I was unable to get the image verification showing using Chrome I tried as you suggested by email another browser IE8
In IE 8 I get a warning notice at the top of the page

"To help protect your security, Internet explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors. Click here for options" If I rt click the bar and allow then the Image verification area shows up. and I can send these messages.

Just for the record your answer to my question was:

The is a Database integration update available with power gallery that will allow you to embed a gallery through code stored in the database, this is actually the same stechnique that is used by Power Store to show a gallery on the product details page.
